It has been almost 30 years since Edmund “Mundl” Sackbauer's last television appearance, but a real Viennese never gives up. Today Mundl is almost 80, and the loss of his beloved little garden house, along with the damage alcohol has done to his friend Kurti Blahovec lead him to meditate on the ageing process. And what about his health, children and grandchildren? Mundl gives vent to increasingly splenetic outbursts of resentment as the rest of the Sackbauer dynasty struggle with their own everyday relationship and career problems.
