Mame & Tate is the portrait of an elderly couple living high up in the mountains on an alp in Gwabl, Eastern Tyrol. The camera follows the two of them through one day, one night and until the next morning when all the daily work starts again. Thereby a cycle is described that shapes the rural life and its people.
