In Es hat mich sehr gefreut, the jumps of the camera through the gleam of an over lit mountain landscape frustrate the viewer's need to watch Mimi Minus masturbating on a black blanket. The oversize black mirror shades protect her eyes from the blinding surroundings, but also from the gaze of others. It is only at the end, after the loud evocation of the highpoint of lust – the resounding laughter turning into lascivious groaning – that Mimi Minus again appears to view, close to the camera, to take off the glasses and confront the viewer with her unfocused face and to take her leave with, “It’s been a pleasure.” from off screen.
