“What does anti-semitism mean today, two generations after the Holocaust,” asks director Yoav Shamir, and embarks on a very personal search for the modern extremes of perhaps “the oldest hatred”. The opinions expressed in the film diverge, and feelings are unleashed, but one thing becomes clear, “It is only when we understand their reaction to anti-semitism that we can appreciate how Jews today, and especially modern Israelis, react to the world around them; in New York, in Moscow, in Gaza and in Tel Aviv.” (Yoav Shamir)
