The setting is simple, a group shot with six old ladies in two rows all looking into the camera, but one lady is smelling a bottle. The inspiration for the film was Kubelka's imminent marriage. Polterabend shows the friends’ reactions, which are plain to see in their faces . Faces, as everyone knows, also tell stories. (Dietmar Schwärzler)
